Overview

OnePlus Care is the official device protection and service app for OnePlus users in India, powered by Servify. The platform enables users to activate extended warranty plans, screen protection, and accidental damage coverage directly from their device.

Before the app, warranty activation and service requests required fragmented communication across web portals, service centers, and support channels. Plan eligibility, activation timelines, and claim processes were often misunderstood, leading to friction and increased support dependency.

The objective was to design a unified in app experience that simplified plan activation, device diagnosis, claim initiation, and repair tracking while adhering strictly to OnePlus OS design guidelines.

The challenge was twofold. The experience had to remain consistent with OnePlus visual and interaction standards, while integrating Servify’s backend fulfillment engine that powered logistics, service approvals, and device replacement workflows.

The result was a branded, seamless protection experience that aligned with OnePlus’s design philosophy of simplicity, content priority, and clarity.

As a Product Designer, I was responsible for shaping the OnePlus Care experience across diagnosis, plan activation, and claim journeys in close collaboration with the OnePlus and Servify teams.


Working within the OnePlus OS design guidelines, I ensured strict adherence to typography hierarchy, brand red action principles, geometric icon usage, and visual consistency. Every screen required detailed review and alignment to meet brand expectations.


A key focus was simplifying complex backend driven service flows into intuitive user experiences. I redesigned hardware diagnosis into a guided three step journey and compressed multi stage claim processes into fewer, clearer interactions while integrating Servify’s fulfillment logic.


This project strengthened my ability to design within strong brand systems while balancing business constraints and operational workflows.
